Event Styling

 

I have been styling events for 14 years. As your stylist, I take care of all the bits and baubles related to your event's aesthetics. I can translate your notions and the mood you want to achieve into something you can touch and share with your guests. Sometimes folks are inundated with information, ideas, and let's face it...Pinterest is rife with eye candy for any little thing your heart desires. It can be difficult to trim away the noise and find yourself in there. For others, it's harder to find that starting point, or to form a cohesive design plan. And no matter what your budget or time may look like, it's worth it to pull off something special for whatever your event may be. These are the occasions that you, friends and family will always remember. Time spent together, face to face, is becoming more and more of a rarity.

 

As an experienced stylist, I can pull all of that together for you and tie it with a string. I started out helping people that didn't have a budget at all construct something beautiful out of nothing, so I learned to be deeply resourceful and creative. Taking the time to know you, I can find inspiration in many things, from Grandma's antique plates to your clothing choices, hobbies, favorite books, or poems. I can help you prune your pins and sort through the opinions of your five besties, mom, and Aunt Sheila to pull out your dream. You may even have things already that can be repurposed in innovative ways for your event that you never even thought about, and likely won't recognize once it's been infused into your design.

 

My specialties are vintage, rustic chic, bohemian, Old World type affairs. There is a plethora of combinations and styles in the middle. When it comes down to brass tacks, I'm basically an event gypsy and I'm not afraid of anything! I can go glam or steampunk, Moroccan or coastal. I have a stock of boutique specialty decor and props that I add to on a regular basis that help define your scenery and style. I "pick" for nearly every event I do, upcycling and repurposing with your unique scenery in mind. I'm always looking for that one thing for you that you and your guests will not forget!

 

I have broken down my pricing tier into plans to make it more managable and hopefully allow every budget to benefit from design and styling assistance. I can conceive, create and design any aspect of your event decor. I offer specialty bars, buffet and food styling. I can do custom backdrops, dress your guest tables, and create special tablescapes for any area of focus. I do floral work with fresh cuts or silks, and can contract florists and communicate your designs for any arrangements.
